Kevin Dotson

Updated: May 3, 2020

Being our lucky second pick in round 4 and 135 pick overall Kevin Dotson from Louisiana-Lafayette will be taking his nasty blocking up north to Pittsburgh.

This dominantly huge guard will play an important part on the front line of our offense. Being over 300 pounds and with a height of 6'4 the Steelers scouted an impressive and aggressive much needed guard. Although he will have to fight for the left guard position he shows he can be a legitimate contender for the starting lineup

“He is a very good athlete. what really shows up on his tape is he is a people mover. I really like that. this guy can move. He can do all the stuff we were looking for.”

Finishing up in Louisiana with impressive stats, Dotson's 2019 achievements include:

Associated Press First Team All-American, USA Today First Team All-American, Sports Illustrated First Team All-American, Pro Football Focus First Team All-American, Sporting News Second Team All-American, First Team All-Sun Belt Conference, All-Louisiana First Team.

Welcome To The Pro's Dotson

Dotson grew up a Steelers fan... so you can only imagine how overwhelmed with joy him and his family could be with the results of the draft. He is over the moon to work with one of his childhood idols, Big Ben. Blown away by the idea of having his teammates be players he's looked up to his whole life, really creates a heartwarming full circle story. We couldn't be more excited for your arrival and ambition!

Best of luck in the Burgh!
