Almost a week ago permission was given to Coaches allowing them to return to work, under strict health guidelines to ensure safety among the staff.
Our very own Mike Tomlin walked the halls of UPMC Rooney Sports Complex. Wearing a mask at all times, sanitizing properly, and having his temperature taken at the entrance were all safety precautions for Tomlin and those around him.
"We face a lot of challenges, my mentality, and the group mentality is going to be they are challenges that everyone faces," said Tomlin. "From that standpoint it's going to be fair and the playing field is going to be level. We have to be light on our feet. There is going to be a period of adjustment from a scheduling standpoint as we gain our footing in terms of logistics of what day-to-day looks like and things of that nature."
As of right the players are expected to return to normal practice by the time training camps come, which those dates are still unannounced by the NFL.
